This new and unique item is completely handmade by Jonathan Steele in his workshop in Dorset. Known as Rufus, it can be used as a sledge, table, notice board, or headboard. The sledge has nylon runners to give it extra ‘woosh’ and can be purchased with or without legs depending on use.  It has been approved by Dorset County Trading Standards.

Size approximately 107cm (42″) long and 55cm (22″) wide.

Allerdale Red Squirrel Group 2015 Fundraising Calendar

For the third year running the Allerdale Red Squirrel Group have produced a fundraising calendar as a result of a competition organised by one of the group, Susan Southworth of Cockermouth. All the photos were chosen by David Bellamy as result of a photographic competition.  The calendars are £8 each and all proceeds will benefit the Allerdale area’s work to protect the Red Squirrel. Kirsty Armstrong Sculpture

Kirsty, as well as being the treasurer, a trustee and a volunteer for the Brampton & District Red Squirrel Group, is also a professional sculptor specialising in wildlife pieces. Her first limited edition Red Squirrel; ‘Charles’ was presented to HRH Prince Charles in February 2011, and is now completely sold out. However, ‘Willow’ and ‘George’ (in cold-cast copper) and ‘Hope’ (a painted version of the 2012 RSST volunteer award) are all still available. ‘Charles’ and ‘Willow’ are expecting their second squirrel kitten; ‘Rowan’, just before Christmas 2014….

Kirsty donates a percentage of her profits from each sculpture sale to red squirrel conservation projects. Tracey Fulton Red Squirrel Prints

Tracey Fulton is a self-taught wildlife artist and photographer based on the beautiful South Ayrshire coast. Her prints and notelets are currently sold at House of Bruar and the Scottish Wildlife Trust in Perthshire. Annette Bushby Red Squirrel Print

Annette is a self taught artist and loves to try out new ideas and techniques. She works from home in the North east of England, and sells her work through local art galleries, local art exhibitions, and online galleries. Red Squirrel Signs by Horsehoe Sign Company


We design and produce a unique range of Red Squirrel warning signs. Our signs are highly  Squirrel Sign 3 - £8visible and produced from top quality outdoor materials. The sign board is 3 millimetre aluminium composite and coated with a weatherproof finish. The image is cut from Avery 700 series gloss vinyl and guaranteed to last at least 7 years outdoors. These signs have proven very popular and we have supplied signs all over the world. They come predrilled, lightweight and easy to install.
