This new and unique item is completely handmade by Jonathan Steele in his workshop in Dorset. Known as Rufus, it can be used as a sledge, table, notice board, or headboard. The sledge has nylon runners to give it extra ‘woosh’ and can be purchased with or without legs depending on use. It has been approved by Dorset County Trading Standards.

Allerdale Red Squirrel Group 2015 Fundraising Calendar
For the third year running the Allerdale Red Squirrel Group have produced a fundraising calendar as a result of a competition organised by one of the group, Susan Southworth of Cockermouth. All the photos were chosen by David Bellamy as result of a photographic competition. The calendars are £8 each and all proceeds will benefit the Allerdale area’s work to protect the Red Squirrel. Kirsty, as well as being the treasurer, a trustee and a volunteer for the Brampton & District Red Squirrel Group, is also a professional sculptor specialising in wildlife pieces. Her first limited edition Red Squirrel; ‘Charles’ was presented to HRH Prince Charles in February 2011, and is now completely sold out. Red Squirrel Signs by Horsehoe Sign Company
